Jackets Bomber B3 WWII Sheepskin Edition Brown Battle of Iwo Jima
Edition USAAF (US Army Air Forces) & Edition RAF (Royal Air Force)
Brought into service around 1934 and it was firm favorite among bomber crews during WWII, the sturdy B3 bomber jacket was originally designed for both open cockpit and high altitude flying in the 1930s.
This famous B-3 “Edition Battle of Iwo Jima Brown Removable Hooded” model was the top undisputed choice by airplanes B-17 Boeing, Boeing B-29 Superfortress and B-25 Michell pilots, also of all the bombardier crews during World War II. This jacket gave warmth to pilots during their missions in the European skies.
The Bomber B-3 Flight Jacket still has all of the little important details that help make it a masterpiece of authenticity. Details synonymous with the pedigree of historical accuracy found in the goods we offer.
The jacket is handmade cut and sewn, using best top-quality Italian leather, chosen by its texture, thickness and warmth. Our Nappa leather soft outer skin in color Light Brown is specially treated to make it even more resistant to water, gasoline, oil and dirt.
Aside from the luxurious detachable zippered hood, the jacket retains all the original features of our standard B-3. Please note that the shearling is tanned to “antique” as you wear it, giving “highs and lows” in the color so it looks as if you had this jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of this product.
Today, more than 75 years from conception, this classic B-3 Lessy Aviator® jackets with vintage look is still in high demand for special collectors.

Andersson Glanzelius –
Very nice jacket for the money. Leather is slightly thin but it kept me warm in an open Jeep in 48 degree weather. Love the detachable fur collar and the pleated back of the shoulders, they really help the fit. Arms are a bit short but not too short. Side hand pockets are small but I can get my hands into them. If everything was perfect this jacket would cost 3 times as much. I recommend it! Andersson
